The Brexit negotiations: Looking forward and back

On the day when the British and EU negotiators agreed on a Brexit transition deal our expert panel reviewed and assessed its importance and possible implications for Britain’s departure from the EU. On this last occasion before his move to a new post in Mexico, the outgoing director of the UK office of Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation, Hans-Hartwig Blomeier, offered a German perspective of the Brexit process, and a personal account of his time in London.
