At this timely webinar, held a few days after the elections in Northern Ireland, our expert speakers analysed the elections results and their possible implications.

Among the questions addressed were: What is the outlook for forming a governing Executive at Stormont? What are the reactions from Dublin and London to the election result? What role has the controversial Northern Ireland Protocol played in the elections, and what does the election result mean for its future?

Speakers:

Professor Katy Hayward
Professor of Political Sociology at Queen’s University Belfast; Senior Fellow of the UK in a Changing Europe thinktank, where she leads a major ESRC-funded project on the topic of the future and status of Northern Ireland after Brexit.

Geoff Martin OBE
