In this video, our Chairman, John Stevens, and Director, Brendan Donnelly, discuss the likely future course of EU-UK relations and whether the two are on a collision course. They expect that friction will be the dominant feature of the relationship, and predict that a political force will emerge in the medium term which will represent the many millions of British voters eager to re-join the EU:
John Stevens is the Chairman of the Federal Trust and a former MEP (1989-1999).
Brendan Donnelly is the director of the Federal Trust and a former MEP (1994-1999).
Somebody needs to start a political ‘European Party’ to be a mouthpiece at least for more than half the population who want also to be Europeans . The Federal trust can be a catalyst for this to form.
