Presentation by Dr Hywel Ceri Jones CMG to mark the 35th anniversary of the official launch of the Erasmus programme[*]

I look back with pride on the two political breakthroughs we secured in the early days, first in 1976 to launch the EU´s very first Action Programme in educational cooperation, and then in 1987 with the official launch of Erasmus itself.
