The forthcoming referendum in Scotland is the most immediate constitutional challenge facing the United Kingdom. Whatever its result, considerable unresolved issues will however remain for the future structure of the United Kingdom. Scotland and the issues which will follow the referendum will be at the heart of our conference about the constitutional future of the United Kingdom at the regional, national and European level.
